Angel Rests Cheek Against Kneeling Jesus Under a Tree

A winged angel kneels beside a bearded man with long hair who sits back on his heels with his head bowed. The angel leans in close, resting its cheek against his head, and one hand reaches toward his folded hands. Both wear long, flowing robes with plenty of fold lines. A large tree with a thick, split trunk and leafy branches rises behind them, and a rocky outcrop sits at the right edge. Small grass tufts and tiny flowers dot the ground at the left, with a few loose ground lines across the front. This free printable works well for a quiet Good Friday lesson on comfort and prayer. Try soft blues and purples for the robes and layered greens and browns for the tree, then ask kids how the angel's pose shows kindness. The feather rows on the wings are great for practicing small, careful strokes.
