Harp-Playing Angel on a Cloud, Christmas (Adult) Page

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• sky blue
• very pale blue
• golden yellow
• peach skin
• golden amber
• soft yellow
• butter yellow

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Fill the flowing gown, both sleeves and the lower hem of the dress with sky blue, keeping the face and wings for later.
2. 2Color the fluffy cloud and the wings with very pale blue, leaving the wing tips light so they still look airy.
3. 3Use golden yellow for the long wavy hair, the stars and the outer rim of the halo, and keep the middle of the halo white.
4. 4Paint the face, both hands, the ears and the harp strings in peach skin, then add soft yellow to the sleeve cuffs.
5. 5Color the harp frame, base and collar in golden amber, and add butter yellow to the neck area.
6. 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of sky blue along the folds of the dress to give it a bit of depth. Leave the music notes and background white.
