Angel With Open Arms and Large Wings

An angel stands facing forward with both arms stretched out to the sides and palms turned upward. Two large wings spread behind the shoulders, each with scalloped feather edges along the lower side. The angel has short curly hair, a calm face with the eyes looking slightly down, and a long robe with full sleeves. A wide piece of cloth drapes across the chest and hangs down the front like a sash, while the hem of the gown flows out in folds at the bottom right. The simple, bold outlines make this page easy for younger kids to color. Try soft blues and lavenders for the robe, a warm gold for the drape, and a few shades of gray or white for the wing feathers. Colored pencils work well for the curly hair and the feather edges.
