A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: fill the green armchair at bottom left with grass green, and the wall on the left in cream.
- 2Color the TV screen background in sky blue and the window panes in light blue and pale blue, leaving the glow of the screen white.
- 3Fill Tom's body, head and arm in slate gray, then add chocolate brown to the wooden stand and cabinet and caramel brown to the mallet handle.
- 4Color the man's suit in royal blue, his face and nose in peach, his hair in chocolate brown and his tie in red, keeping the glasses lenses white.
- 5Add Jerry in caramel brown and coral pink for his ears, and color the dog in caramel brown and peach, with a mustard gold picture frame.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of charcoal gray on the TV frame and slate gray shading on Tom to give depth. Keep Tom's teeth, mouth, and the white glove and mallet head bright white.
