Shrugging Cartoon Man in a Rocky Space Jam Wasteland
Coloring guide
A tall cartoon man stands in the middle of the page, both hands up with palms open in a puzzled shrug. His eyebrows are scrunched, his mouth hangs open as if he's mid-sentence, and his flat-top hair adds plenty of personality. He wears a sleeveless tank top with swirly patterns on the shoulders, a wristband on one wrist, and striped wrapped sleeves on his forearms. Behind him is a messy scene of broken rock chunks, a tilted crumbling structure in the upper left, a tuft of grass, and a curving road with dashed lines on the right. Warm browns and tans would suit the rocks, and a bright team color on the tank top will help him stand out. Save it as a free PDF for a screen-free activity at home. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- sandy tan
- caramel brown
- cream white
- light blue gray
- forest green
- slate gray
- charcoal gray
- navy blue
- bright green
- peach skin
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the man's arms, hands, face and neck with caramel brown, leaving the eye whites, teeth and the thin highlight lines white.
- 2Fill the big sandy ground at the bottom and the stretch of ground near his legs with sandy tan, then add bright green to the small grass tufts and the plant on the left.
- 3Color the tank top and its collar cream white, and make his pants at the bottom navy blue.
- 4Use light blue gray for the broken bag, rocks and wreckage on the left and right, and slate gray for the darker rock edges and the cracked slabs near the bottom.
- 5Fill the green hill on the right and the bush behind the ground with forest green, and use charcoal gray for the dark sleeve cuffs and wrist bands.
- 6Optional: add a little peach skin on the cheeks and forehead to soften the face, and keep the background above his head white.
