Apple Picking Farmer Boy on a Wooden Ladder

Up on a wooden ladder, a smiling boy in a wide-brimmed straw hat and overalls reaches for a big apple on a leafy tree. One arm holds a woven basket that's already full of apples. His rolled-up sleeves and tall boots are fun little details to color. More apples hang from the branches, and a second full basket rests on the grass by the thick, textured trunk. A simple wooden fence, rounded bushes and small grass tufts sit in the background. Use this free printable for a fall harvest lesson or a quiet afternoon at the table. Red and green apples, a golden yellow hat and warm brown baskets and ladder will make the fruit stand out against the tree.
