Spartan from Halo Raising a Pistol
Coloring guide
This chest-up drawing shows a helmeted soldier in chunky futuristic armor. One gloved hand lifts a pistol beside the head, fingers wrapped around the grip and the barrel pointing straight up. The visor is angular and faceted, and a ridged crest runs along the top of the helmet. The large shoulder plates have small latches and detailed panels, and little wing-like emblems appear on the chest and the helmet cheek. With no background, the armor stands out against clean white space. It works well for older kids who like detail and for fans of the Halo games. Metallic green armor with a gold visor looks sharp, and dark gray on the pistol makes it stand out. Just download and print it for an easy afternoon activity. Kids who like Halo coloring pages usually enjoy Adopt Me! and Skylanders too.

- silver gray
- olive green

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big green armor areas: fill the helmet, chest, and arm armor with moss green, leaving the thin white highlight strip across the top of the helmet untouched.
- 2Color the darker olive green sections such as the shoulder plates and the belt and waist pieces with olive green, and the helmet's deeper panels with dark olive.
- 3Fill the gun and the gripping hand with silver gray for the pistol body and charcoal gray for the hand and gun details, including the fingers and trigger.
- 4Add the golden yellow visor across the Spartan's face, and the small yellow accents on the helmet side.
- 5Use sage green on the small accent pieces near the gun and the bottom of the right arm, and light gray on the chest emblem and the small hip highlights.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading by pressing slightly darker in the shadowed sides of the helmet and the gun, and keep the outlines and background white.
