Master Chief Lining Up a Rifle Shot
Coloring guide
Master Chief stands in a ready stance in this Halo page, pointing a large rifle forward. He's drawn from the helmet to the thighs, and his visor helmet is tilted as he looks down the weapon. One hand grips the body of the rifle and the other holds it up from below. Thick shoulder pads, a chest plate and segmented leg armor all get bold, clear outlines. There's no background, so the whole page belongs to the character. Kids who like detail will enjoy the many armor panels and that long rifle. Olive green for the armor, a gold or orange visor and a dark gray weapon keep every section easy to tell apart. The free printable PDF is good for a relaxed afternoon. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big green armor pieces: color the shoulders, chest, hips, arms and both legs with leaf green, leaving the small gap between the legs white.
- 2Fill the rifle's main body, barrel tip and top panels with light steel gray so the weapon stands out from the armor.
- 3Color the darker accents such as the grip, lower rifle parts, backpack and the joints with slate gray and charcoal gray.
- 4Paint the visor on the helmet golden yellow, and add olive green to the helmet top, brim and the shoulder areas for variety.
- 5Finish the hand and fingers with leaf green and charcoal gray details, keeping any small highlights white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading in the shadowed areas of the armor using a deeper shade of the same colors for more depth.
