A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bear's fur, ears, arms, legs and the easel wood in teddy brown, leaving the small cheek highlight white.
- 2Fill the bushes, hill and grass in grass green, and the grass around the easel and feet in light green.
- 3Color the apron and its bib cream, the apron pocket and paintbrush in sky blue, and the beret in cherry red.
- 4Paint the sun and the house walls in golden yellow, the roof in cherry red, the door in dark brown, and the windows in sky blue. Leave the canvas white.
- 5Add the palette in tan with colorful dabs of sky blue, grass green, golden yellow and cherry red, then fill the paint cans in orange, bright blue, golden yellow, cherry red and sky blue.
- 6Optional: add a little darker brown shading along the bear's fur and a touch of light peach to the inner ears and river path.
