Kangaroo, Joey and Boomerang Behind Australian Flag

Coloring guide
A mother kangaroo stands upright behind a rectangular Australian flag, with a small joey peeking out of her pouch and her long tail curling down the left side. To the right, a large boomerang is drawn with a few stripes across both of its arms. The flag shows the Union Jack in the top left corner, one big seven-pointed star underneath it, and five smaller stars on the right side. The word Australia is written in bold lettering along the bottom. Kids can color the flag in blue, red and white with white stars, then give the kangaroo soft browns and tans. It also works well for a geography lesson, since children can count the stars on the flag and spot which ones have seven points. The boomerang stripes are a nice place to try dot patterns.
