Taj Mahal Above the Flag of India

Coloring guide
A line drawing of the Taj Mahal sits above a rectangular Indian flag. The large central dome has a pointed finial on top, with two smaller domed kiosks on either side of the main arched doorway. Tall minarets with little domed tops stand at both outer edges, and two shorter towers sit closer to the building. A straight path with a long central channel leads toward the entrance, lined with rows of tall, rounded cypress-style trees. Below the scene, the flag is split into three equal horizontal bands, with a round wheel of many spokes in the middle band. The large open shapes are easy for little hands to fill in. Try coloring the flag saffron, white, and green from top to bottom with a navy blue wheel, then talk about what the flag represents. The building details give older kids plenty of small spaces to work on.
