Autumn Banner With Harvest Vegetables and Grapes
Coloring guide
A ribbon banner with the word AUTUMN in large outlined letters runs across a pile of harvest produce. The picture is turned sideways on the page, so rotate it to read the letters. Behind the banner you can spot bell peppers with curly stems, a bumpy cauliflower or broccoli head, a leafy cabbage, an ear of corn with husk leaves, and a bunch of round grapes. An eggplant, a stalk of wheat, some leafy greens and a round root vegetable sit along the bottom edge. The forked ribbon ends curl at both sides. Try a different color family for each vegetable, then fill the banner letters with a bold shade so the word stands out. It also works well as a vegetable naming activity for younger kids, and the page is free to print.
