Autumn Snails, Pumpkins, Acorns and Leaves Pattern

Coloring guide
A busy repeating pattern fills the page with garden snails, round ribbed pumpkins, acorns, and many kinds of fall leaves. The snails have long eyestalks and swirled shells, and some have dotted bodies. Pumpkins have curly vines and stem tops, and a few apples sit between them, drawn with a small spiral in the middle. Oak leaves, a large maple leaf, and simple pointed leaves are packed in with small flowers and tiny berry sprigs. A mushroom cap with a ribbon-like detail sits near the lower right. Most shapes are filled with short dashes or dots, which makes them fun to color in sections. Try using a different color family for each kind of object, such as oranges for pumpkins, browns for acorns, and greens for the snail shells. Younger kids can start with the big maple leaf, while older kids can add shading to the dotted areas. This printable page works well as a quiet fall activity at home or in class.
