Autumn Word Surrounded by Fall Items and Leaves

Coloring guide
Big outlined block letters spell AUTUMN down the center of the page, and they are left open and ready for color. All around them are small fall doodles packed close together. You can find jack-o'-lanterns with carved faces, round pumpkins, mushrooms, and several kinds of leaves, including maple and oak shapes. There are also rain clouds with falling streaks, swirly wind lines, and open and closed umbrellas. Cozy items show up too, like sweaters, socks, scarves, rain boots, and a steaming mug. Bells with bows, backpacks, garden rakes, and paper bags with maple leaf designs fill more of the space. Two calendar pages are marked 1 Sept and 31 Oct. Tiny stars, circles, squares, and triangles fill the gaps. Try coloring each letter in a different warm shade, then have kids pick one calendar page and talk about what changes between September and October. The page is free to print and works well for a quiet table activity.
