- 1Start with the big areas: color the sun, the chick's body and the centers of the flowers bright yellow, leaving the eye whites and the small eye shines white.
- 2Fill the large flower's petals with coral pink, then color the small flower's petals lavender purple.
- 3Use orange for the orange flower, the chick's beak and feet, leaving the sky and background white.
- 4Color the watering can sky blue, its sprinkler head and the falling water drops pale blue.
- 5Add leaf green to the leaves and light brown to the fence, then use lime green for the grass and stems.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the petals and the watering can to make them pop.
