Baking Halloween Cookies with a Baby Elephant Witch
Coloring guide
In this cozy baking scene, a smiling baby elephant in a pointed witch hat with a buckle rolls out cookie dough on the counter. It wears a scalloped apron with a front pocket, and the big round ears and curled trunk make it look sweet and friendly. On the left sits a mixing bowl with a spoon and heart patterns. Up front are a pumpkin cookie cutter and a bat cookie cutter, plus a baking tray of pumpkin and bat cookies. Behind the elephant, a potted plant and a lidded jar sit on a shelf, and an arched window lets in light. Younger kids can tackle the large shapes, and older kids can take on the small hearts and apron scallops. A deep purple hat and bright orange pumpkin cookies would look great. - 2Color the witch hat and its tail in violet purple, then fill the hat band and buckle in charcoal black.
- 3Fill the apron with pumpkin orange and add the pocket and top bib in sunny yellow, keeping the strap details in orange.
- 4Color the wooden table, shelf and rolling pin in medium brown, and the dough in light tan.
- 5Add the window panes and the bowl band in sky blue and sunny yellow, then color the batter in butter yellow.
- 6Finish with the pumpkin cookies in pumpkin orange, the bat cookies in charcoal black, and the plant leaves in leaf green. Optional: add a little darker shading under the hat and ears for depth.
