Baby Koala Hugging a Tree Branch

A young koala clings to a thick branch that runs diagonally across the page, with its front paws wrapped around the wood and its feet gripping the lower part of the trunk. The koala looks off to the side with one small round eye, a large oval nose, and two big round ears, one in front and one peeking out behind. Its body is rounded and chubby, drawn with clean, simple outlines and no background, so there is plenty of open space to color. Try soft grays and browns for the fur, a darker shade for the nose, and a warm brown for the branch. This free printable also works well for a quick lesson on how koalas climb and hold on to eucalyptus trees.
