Ballerina Bear Twirling on a Stage

Coloring guide
This little bear is up on one pointed foot in ballet slippers, smiling away. One arm reaches out to the side and the other goes high overhead, like she's caught mid-twirl. She has a bow on her head, a sleeveless leotard with a wide waistband, and a scalloped tutu full of curvy lines. Tied-back curtains frame both sides of the stage, and the floor is wooden planks drawn in perspective. Preschoolers will do fine with the big shapes, and older kids can shade the tutu and curtain folds. Pink for the tutu and bow, red curtains and golden brown fur would look lovely. Print it free for a dance-class party, a rainy afternoon or a quiet corner of the classroom. If you enjoyed this Bear page, don't miss our Shark and Giraffe coloring pages.

- 2Fill the stage floor planks with honey tan, going around the bear's feet.
- 3Color the tutu, leotard bodice, bow and inner ears soft pink.
- 4Use rose pink for the ballet shoes, ankle straps and the band at the waist of the tutu.
- 5Color both curtains at the top sides lavender purple, and leave the background wall white.
- 6Fill the muzzle with cream, color the open mouth bright pink, and keep the eye whites and background white. Optional: add a little darker brown along the edges of the bear for depth.
