Polar Bear Cub Perched on Floating Ice
Coloring guide
A young polar bear sits on a flat slab of ice with its head tilted slightly down and its big round eyes looking off to the side. The cub has small rounded ears, a dark oval nose, and a gentle curved smile. Its front paws are tucked together near the edge of the ice, and its rounded back and haunch take up most of the right side of the picture. The ice floe has wavy edges and a few short vertical lines on its sides that show thickness. The shapes are large and simple, so this free printable works well for younger kids using crayons. Try pale blues and soft grays on the ice, then talk about why polar bears live in cold places and leave the bear white or add light cream shading.
