A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big banana bodies, the left, right, and middle ones, in bright yellow, and leave the eye whites and flower petals unpainted.
- 2Color the picnic blanket in a checkered pattern, alternating coral red and light pink squares, and leave the few white squares as they are.
- 3Fill the sandwiches and the plate with light tan, and add pale pink to the plate edge for a soft finish.
- 4Paint the sky blue clouds and pitcher, then use soft pink for the napkin and honey orange for the basket and napkin folds.
- 5Add grass green to the trees and the lawn, with forest green for the darker bushes and grass patches.
- 6Optional: Add a little light coral shading along the bottom edges of the bananas for extra depth.
