Helmeted Banana Cruising on a Peel Through the Park
Coloring guide
A grinning cartoon banana balances on a flat, splayed banana peel, as if he's surfing or skating down a curving path. He's wearing a vented safety helmet with a buckled chin strap and sneakers with velcro straps, and his gloved hands stretch out wide to help him balance. Behind him the winding path passes through a grassy park with small tufts of grass, rounded bushes and two leafy trees with sturdy trunks. Big shapes and clear outlines keep it simple for younger kids. The helmet details, shoe straps and leaves will keep older kids busy. Bright yellow for the banana, bold red or blue for the helmet and soft greens for the trees work well. Download the free PDF whenever you want a quick coloring break. - 2Fill the helmet with bright blue and the little stem on top with golden tan, then add charcoal black to the strap.
- 3Color the tree canopies and bushes with leaf green, and the tree trunks with warm brown, adding olive brown to the right trunk.
- 4Color both sneakers cherry red, keeping the laces, toes, and soles white, and fill the mouth with soft pink and dark brown.
- 5Shade the ground under the banana with light gray and color the grass patches and the right roadside with lime green.
- 6Optional: Add a second layer of darker green on the tree canopies and a little extra yellow shading along one side of the banana for depth.
