Sunscreen Time at the Beach with Barbie
Coloring guide
Sitting on the sand with her legs crossed, Barbie holds a bottle of sunscreen in one hand and smooths lotion onto her other arm. Her very long wavy hair is topped with a big leopard-print bow, and she wears earrings, a necklace and a matching spotted two-piece swimsuit. Next to her is a patterned beach tote with a star-shaped logo, and a pair of sunglasses lies on the sand on the left. A small starfish rests close by, and ocean waves and a few birds fill the sky behind her. For a coordinated look, color the bow, swimsuit and bag in the same bright pink or turquoise, then add soft blue for the water. Print the free PDF at home for classroom time or a rainy day. This fits right in with our Barbie coloring pages — see also Dog Man and Puppy Dog Pals.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin areas: color the legs, arms, shoulders, chest and feet with peach skin, leaving the face details for later.
- 2Color the long hair, the bow and the hair behind the face with golden yellow, adding light strokes so the strands stay easy to see.
- 3Fill the handbag with hot pink on its bottom, handle and star emblem, and color the square panel in the front golden yellow.
- 4Color the beach towel and the bag's towel area in light blue and light gray, and paint the sea strip and the water behind the bottle in sky blue.
- 5Finish with the sunglasses in pale gold and any small details like the foot and sand, keeping the highlights and the background white.
