Dreamy Barbie Fairy Resting Her Chin
Coloring guide
Sitting sideways on a small tuft of leaves, this fairy rests her chin in one hand and smiles dreamily. She's relaxed and thoughtful, with one knee lifted and her long legs stretched out in front. Her top is sleeveless with a flower pattern, her skirt is shaped like petals, and her ballet-style shoes have ribbons wrapping up her calves. Her hair is pulled back from her face. The two big butterfly-style wings behind her are split into lots of little sections, so they're fun to fill in with several colors. Soft purples and pinks suit the wings, and green is a good match for the petal skirt. It's a nice free printable for kids who love fairies and careful coloring. She has no background, so she stands out clearly on the white page. Looking for more? Our Dog Man and Puppy Dog Pals coloring pages pair nicely with this Barbie page.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big wings: fill the large front wing and the small back wing with sky blue, leaving the thin white highlights along the vein lines.
- 2Color the long stripe running through the front wing with pink, then add butter yellow to the small yellow panels near the wing tops.
- 3Fill the lower wing sections with mint green, aqua mint and lime green, and add violet purple to the little tips at the bottom left.
- 4Paint the skin areas peach, including the arms, face, legs and hand resting on the cheek, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 5Color the hair chestnut brown and the bodice and skirt with grass green and lime green, keeping the small bright spots on the bodice white.
- 6Finish with the shoes in grass green and add tan brown to the bodice strap for a final touch of detail.
