Flying Barbie Fairy with Butterfly Wings and Wavy Hair
Coloring guide
This Barbie Dreamtopia fairy is mid-flight, smiling, with her arms stretched wide and her long wavy hair trailing behind. Big butterfly-style wings with oval spots and bold sections sit behind her shoulders. A small flower detail decorates her strapless top. Her ruffled, layered skirt flutters as she kicks her legs back, and she has flat shoes on her feet. Nothing is drawn in the background, so kids can add their own sky, clouds or sparkles. The large wing panels and flowing hair are simple enough for early colorers, and older kids who like detail will have fun too. Soft purple and turquoise would look lovely on the wings, with pink for the skirt and flower. It's a free printable, so print a copy for your collection. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the hair: fill the wavy locks with pale yellow, then add golden yellow streaks in the darker strands, leaving the bright shine spots white.
- 2Color the skin peach on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, and legs, keeping the eye whites white.
- 3Fill the dress with lilac on the skirt, and use soft orchid on the lower hem and the skirt folds, adding plum purple for the corset stripes.
- 4Color the wings: use sky blue and pale blue for the inner panels, lilac for the lower sections, and rose pink along the wing borders with light pink on the outer edge.
- 5Finish the details: color the shoes hot pink, the shoulder flower blush pink, and the bodice band rose pink. Optional: add a slightly darker shade of the same color in the skirt folds for depth.
