A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin: color the face, neck, both arms and hands with peach skin, leaving the smile and eyes for later.
- 2Fill the whole shirt with denim blue, including the collars, both sleeves, the pockets and the front placket.
- 3Color the light sky blue cuffs at the ends of both rolled sleeves for a nice contrast.
- 4Use golden yellow for the bulk of the long hair, then add pale yellow on the top and the outer strands to create the bright highlights.
- 5Leave the small bright streak in the hair white so it looks shiny, and color the light gray belt at the bottom.
- 6Optional: Add the necklace and pocket buttons with a little extra denim blue or a slightly darker blue to finish the details.
