Barbie Princess Seated on a Throne with Her Kitten
Coloring guide
There's plenty to color on this page. A long-haired princess sits upright on a tall, ornate throne with a small kitten curled in her lap. She wears a pointed tiara, a pendant necklace, and a fitted bodice with swirling patterns above a wide, flowing skirt with puffed sleeves. Her wavy hair falls over her shoulders. One hand rests on the throne's curled armrest and the other pets the cat. Two gathered curtains tied with ribbons frame the scene behind her. Little hands can take on the big skirt and curtains, and older kids who like detail can work on the bodice swirls and tiara. Soft lilac or rose pink would suit the gown, golden yellow the crown and necklace, and warm orange or gray the kitten. The free PDF needs no sign-up. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big gown and skirt in hot pink, leaving the kitten in the lap unpainted so it stays white.
- 2Fill the throne's inner back and lower right area with crimson red, then color the arch frame and top ornaments golden yellow.
- 3Color the long wavy hair, the crown, and the bow in golden yellow, leaving the crown's small sparkles white if you like.
- 4Use peach skin for the face, neck, arms, and hands, then paint the bodice and sleeves baby pink.
- 5Add tangerine to the top arch ornament and the throne base, rust orange to the left wrist, and rose pink to the center of the bodice.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the skirt folds with the same hot pink; keep the eyes, background, and kitten white.
