Barbie Reading a Bedtime Story to a Little Girl

A woman with long straight hair and blunt bangs sits up in bed, propped against big pillows, while a small girl sits cross-legged in front of her. The girl wears button-up pajamas with a rounded collar and has her hair in a side ponytail with a curl at the end. She looks up at the woman, who smiles and rests one hand near an open book lying on the thick quilted mattress. The woman wears a striped tank top and earrings, and her bare feet stretch out to the left. Lots of pillow folds and mattress creases give you plenty of spots for shading. Try soft pastel pencils for the pajamas and a cozy patterned color on the mattress, then let kids pick the story the book might tell. This free page works well for quiet time or a bedtime theme.
