Country Pony Ride with Barbie
Coloring guide
In this Barbie coloring page, a smiling girl with long wavy hair rides a horse that's walking toward us. She has a flower in her hair, a choker, drop earrings and a short-sleeved striped T-shirt, and her sneakers rest in the stirrups. The horse has a full shaggy mane, a bridle with reins, and a saddle with a pretty crosshatched pad. Behind them you'll see a leafy evergreen tree, a flowering bush, tufts of grass, and a few small flowers and stones on the ground, with wispy clouds across the top of the sky. All those lines in the mane and tree make this a good fit for kids who like to take their time with crayons or fine markers. A warm chestnut brown works for the horse, and fresh greens for the tree and bush. It's free to download and print, so keep a few extra copies on hand. Kids who like Barbie coloring pages usually enjoy Dog Man and Puppy Dog Pals too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the horse body, neck and legs in caramel brown, leaving the nose and eye highlights white.
- 2Color the horse's flowing mane and forelock in cream, and add warm tan along the neck for a soft shade.
- 3Fill the girl's hair with golden yellow, and her face, neck, arms and hands with light peach, keeping the eye whites bright.
- 4Color the striped shirt and jeans in bright blue, leaving the white stripes uncolored, then add charcoal gray to the shadow under the shirt.
- 5Add leaf green to the tree, bushes and bottom right grass, and pale lime green to the grass at the bottom.
- 6Optional: Use a slightly darker brown on the boots and saddle straps, and light sky blue on the sky clouds to finish.
