A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big orange cat head and body, the tan kittens, and the gray kittens using orange, tan, and light gray.
2. 2Color the blue blanket inside the basket with light blue, and fill the basket weave with golden brown and tan brown, alternating the rows.
3. 3Add the dark brown weave lines at the bottom of the basket and the bright blue yarn ball near the front.
4. 4Color the inner ears and mouths with pale pink, and the orange cat paw with soft cream.
5. 5Leave the paw highlights and eye whites white, and use dark gray on the gray kitten shadows and tail.
6. 6Optional: add a few darker strokes on the orange cat cheeks and tan kittens for a cozy, shaded look.
