Bat-Winged Kitten with a Trick-or-Treat Candy Basket

Sitting upright with a big happy smile, a fluffy kitten wears a headband with pointed cat ears and a pair of little bat wings spread behind its back. The curled tail wraps around the left side, and the chest fur is drawn in soft, feathery strokes. Next to the kitten is a woven basket with a big bow on the front, filled with lollipops, wrapped sweets and a few round candies. In front, more wrapped candies and two small round candies are scattered on the ground. Large eyes and simple outlines make it a good fit for younger kids who like bold, easy shapes. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the kitten's head, body, and tail with apricot orange, leaving the eyes, the nose area, and the cheek shine white.
- 2Color the outer ears pale pink, the inner ear linings rose pink, and the little fluffy ear tufts cream.
- 3Paint the headband and both bat wings charcoal gray, keeping the wing edges clean.
- 4Color the candy basket caramel brown, then add the big bow and the wrapped candies in royal purple.
- 5Add lemon yellow, bright red, and bubblegum pink to the loose candies and the lollipop, leaving the small shine spots white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the belly and under the wings with a deeper shade of the same color to give the kitten some depth.
