Bear Cub in a Santa Hat Reaching for Snowflakes

Coloring guide
This chubby little bear cub is standing up on its hind legs in a floppy Santa hat with a fluffy pom-pom. It looks skyward with a big grin and its tongue poking out. One paw reaches high for the falling flakes while the other stays tucked against its chest. Six snowflakes, each with its own design, drift down around the cub, mixed in with small round snowballs or dots. Soft rolling hills curve along behind it. Thick outlines and large open spaces make this free printable a good pick for preschoolers and early elementary kids. A red hat with white trim looks great, and pale blue and lavender will help the snowflakes show up. Brown or cream fur would be cozy too. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color both snow hills at the bottom with pale blue, leaving the bear's white body and tail untouched.
- 2Fill the Santa hat with bright red, keeping the white fur trim and the pompom white.
- 3Color the tongue and the inside of the left ear soft pink.
- 4Fill the snowflakes and the small round dots in the sky with sky blue, leaving the white background around them.
- 5Optional: add a few extra light strokes of pale blue along the bottom of the hills to suggest snow texture.
