Belle Winking While Holding a Big Log

Belle stands in the foreground with her hair pulled back in a long ponytail, winking as she lifts a thick log up with both hands. Her sleeves are puffy with banded cuffs, and she wears a collared top with an apron tied in a bow at the waist. Behind her, a small living axe-shaped character with a face peeks out near a pile of chopped wood and split logs. A tall column rises at the top left corner. The log has visible tree rings on its cut end, which makes a nice detail to color. Try warm browns and tans for the wood pile, then pick a contrasting color for the apron so Belle stands out. This free printable page has big open shapes in the dress and sleeves, so it works well for crayons and younger kids, and the wood grain gives older kids some fine detail to practice shading.
