Bear Hug Father's Day Coloring Page With Big Bear and Cub
Coloring guide
A large, smiling bear stands up on two legs and holds a small cub in both arms. The cub looks up with an open-mouthed grin, one paw resting on the big bear's chest and its feet dangling in front. A tall tree stands behind them on the right, with a bumpy, cloud-shaped top and bark lines down the trunk, and a few grass tufts sit around the bears' feet. Lines are thick and clean, and the fur is drawn in small tufts, which works well with chunky crayons. Honey-brown for the big bear and a lighter caramel for the cub will keep the two easy to tell apart. Print it free for a dad-and-child project or a classroom craft. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big bear's body, legs, arms, and ears with warm brown, leaving the eye whites untouched.
- 2Color the cub's body and head with caramel tan, and the cub's lower belly with light beige.
- 3Color the tree trunk at the top right in warm brown, and keep the background and tree area white.
- 4Fill the big bear's muzzle with light beige, then color the inner ears, the tongue, and the cub's inner ear in coral pink.
- 5Color the top of the cub's head with caramel tan so it blends with the cub's body.
- 6Optional: add light shading to the big bear's body with a slightly darker strokes of warm brown for depth.
