Father's Day Necktie Coloring Page With Stripes, Dots and Bow
Coloring guide
This page is mostly one big necktie. The wide blade has diagonal stripes with a row of little circles tucked between the lines, and the knot at the top has two slanted stripes of its own. Over on the right, a ribbon bow with two loops, a round center knot and two pointed tails leans against the tie. The outlines are bold and the spaces are roomy, so younger kids shouldn't struggle. Dad, grandpa or an uncle would love getting it as a handmade gift, and it folds nicely into a card. Maybe alternate navy and sky blue in the stripes and put bright yellow in the circles, then make the bow red so it pops. Print it free at home or in the classroom. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- sky blue
- cherry red
- golden yellow
- grass green
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the long tie body with sky blue, coloring every striped section except the thin white stripes if you want them to show.
- 2Color the knot at the top of the tie with cherry red, then fill the diagonal stripe across it with golden yellow.
- 3Fill the bow with cherry red, including both loops, the center knot and the two tails hanging down.
- 4Color each polka dot on the tie with grass green, leaving the dot outlines bold and crisp.
- 5Optional: Add a little shading along one side of the bow and the tie with a darker shade of the same colors to make them look more rounded.
- 6Leave the small gap between the bow and the tie white, along with the background, so the design stands out.
