Look down on a baseball diamond with seven young players in caps and gloves, each at their position. The pitcher stands on the mound at the center of the infield, a masked catcher crouches behind home plate, and two infielders bend forward near the bases on either side. Farther back, three outfielders wait in the grass near a curved outfield fence with a bush at each end. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the outfield dirt and the dirt paths along the foul lines with tan, leaving the base and batter boxes white.
- 2Fill the infield diamond with bright green, keeping the bases and the white batter boxes untouched.
- 3Color the pitcher's mound and the dirt around home plate with brown, and fill the catcher's skin with pale peach.
- 4Color the long outfield wall and its two end pieces with sky blue, and the bush in the top-left corner with forest green.
- 5Leave the bases, home plate, and both batter boxes white so they stand out against the colored dirt.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the edges of the grass and wall to make the field look more three-dimensional.
