Bird's-Eye View of Two Kids Playing Tennis
Coloring guide
Looking down on the court from above, you'll see a boy in a baseball cap at the top and a girl with a ponytail at the bottom, facing each other over the net. The boy stands ready and smiling, holding his racket in both hands. The girl wears a short-sleeved top and a pleated skirt and stretches her racket up toward a ball in mid-air, with a curved line tracing the ball's flight. Clear boundary lines, service boxes and a checkered net leave lots of areas to color, and small grass tufts and puffy bushes sit in the corners. A bright green or clay-orange court with a yellow-green ball would stand out well. This free printable is great for sporty kids who want big open spaces for crayons or markers. Add this to your Tennis coloring page collection, alongside Soccer and NHL / Hockey.

- grass green
- chocolate brown
- bubblegum pink
- light peach
- deep blue
- sky blue
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the big court surface with grass green, using light diagonal strokes and leaving the white lines and net uncolored.
- 2Color the tennis net posts at both ends of the net with deep blue, then fill the boy's cap and shirt with sky blue.
- 3Fill the girl's shirt and sleeve with bubblegum pink, and color her hair and ponytail with chocolate brown.
- 4Add light peach to the faces, arms, hands, legs and necks of both kids, leaving small white highlights on their faces.
- 5Keep the tennis shorts, skirt, shoes, socks, racket and ball white, and leave the net and white court borders untouched.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra grass green shading near the court edges and darker brown strokes under the ponytail for depth.
