Birthday Party Chameleon with Balloons and Cake
Coloring guide
Perched on a thick tree branch, this smiling chameleon has big round eyes and wears a polka-dot party hat with a pom-pom on top. Its curled tail holds a bunch of five balloons, and the striped body and spiny back leave lots of space for color. Under the branch, a tiered birthday cake with four lit candles sits on a tree stump, and leafy vines, curly streamers and bushes fill in the rest. It works nicely on a birthday party activity table, or just for a quiet afternoon at home. Bright lime green with orange stripes suits the chameleon, and giving every balloon a different color helps them stand out against the leaves. Chunky shapes keep it easy for younger kids, while the streamers and leaves give older ones some detail. Fans of Chameleon coloring pages often like Crab and Tiger as well.

- 1Start with the chameleon: fill its body, tail and hand with lime green, leaving the eye shines white.
- 2Color the tree branch, the stump and its trunk with brown, then add the leaves in bright green and forest green on the darker back stripes.
- 3Fill the balloons: yellow for the big one on the left, sky blue for the top one, and violet purple for the two on the right.
- 4Color the cake with bubblegum pink on the top frosting, pale yellow for the middle layer, and sky blue dots around it.
- 5Add the party hat in red with pale yellow and bright yellow dots, a sky blue pompom on top, and a rose pink tongue.
- 6Optional: add a few darker green stripes on the chameleon's back, and leave the background, streamers and balloon strings white.
