Black Manta Towering Over a Fallen Aquaman
Coloring guide
Kids who like superhero stories will find plenty of tension here. Black Manta stands tall in the middle with his fists clenched, wearing a big oval helmet with two blank eye slits. Curly hoses loop from the helmet down his arms and body. Down at his feet, Aquaman lies face down on the ground in his scale-patterned top. Behind the two of them is a stern, bearded man in a hood, shorts, a belt and chest straps. Jagged mountain peaks and rocky ground fill the background. The big shapes are easy for small hands to color. Shiny black and deep red would look great on the helmet, while orange and green fit the fallen hero's scaly top. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big helmet head and the standing figure's body in bright red, leaving the two oval eye shines and the small highlight on top of the helmet white.
- 2Fill the hooded Aquaman figure: royal blue for the hood, pants, belt straps and sleeves, and peach for the bare skin of the chest and shoulders.
- 3Color the fallen creature's large mound in grass green, then add golden yellow to the thin stripes along its body and lemon yellow to the spiky bumps.
- 4Color the mountains and rocks behind the figures in medium gray and charcoal gray, and the rocky ground at the bottom in warm brown and light tan.
- 5Optional: add a little darker shading in the shadow areas, such as under the arms and along the red figure's legs, to give the drawing more depth.
