Leaping Black Panther Over Stepping Stones and a Rainbow

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• warm tan
• leaf green
• light gray
• lime green
• forest green
• bright red
• orange
• sage green
• bright yellow
• sky blue
• coral pink
• light blue

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color the panther's body, head and legs in warm tan, leaving the muzzle and cheeks pale cream.
2. 2Paint the rainbow bands from the outside in: bright red, orange, bright yellow, leaf green, then sky blue, leaving the sky background white.
3. 3Fill the stones with light gray and the stream ripples with light blue, keeping the thin white lines of the water.
4. 4Color the bushes and grass with leaf green, lime green, sage green and forest green, then add the ferns in forest green and mint green.
5. 5Finish the inner ears in coral pink and add the teal and light green touches on the plants and paws.
6. 6Optional: add a little darker tan along the belly and legs to give the panther a bit more depth.
