Blocky Robot Math Pixel Art with Stars

Standing in the middle of this page is a tall, blocky robot made of small numbered squares. It has big round eyes, a ball on its antenna and three round buttons down its chest. Squares carry numbers 1 through 5, and the key at the bottom has five circles with empty boxes underneath, so kids choose their own colors. Four little stars marked 5 float near the robot's head, with grass tufts and bushes on both sides of its feet. It works well for early number recognition and patient, careful coloring. Make every 5 a bright blue so the stars, antenna ball and outer edges glow, then go with warm reds and yellows for the buttons and eyes. Grab the free printable PDF for a screen-free activity.
