A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin areas: color the face, ears, neck, arms and hands in a soft peach skin tone, leaving the eye whites bright white.
- 2Fill the hair with warm brown, then color the shirt sleeves and middle in sky blue, keeping the collar trim in butter yellow.
- 3Color the party hat in sky blue, then add golden yellow and lemon yellow polka dots and a bright red pompom on top.
- 4Give the cake a chocolate brown base and bubblegum pink frosting on the top and drip edge, then add the candles in cream yellow with lemon yellow flames.
- 5Use orange, bright red and leaf green for the curly streamers on both sides and at the top, and add colorful dots on the cake in purple, light blue, orange and golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Leave the plate white and add small white highlights on the cake top for a sparkly finish.
