Boy and Girl Ice Skating Together in Pom-Pom Beanies
Coloring guide
Side by side on the ice, a boy and a girl hold hands and smile at each other in a cheerful winter scene. They're both dressed in pom-pom beanies with ribbed brims, puffy striped jackets, fringed scarves, mittens and lace-up skates. The girl's long ponytail streams out behind her, while the boy's short hair peeks out from under his hat. A snow-topped wooden fence and two evergreen trees frame the rink, and curved skate trails swirl on the ice below. Simple, large shapes keep it easy for young children, and the scarves, jackets and hats leave lots of room for patterns. Red and teal on the jackets and striped hats would make the two skaters stand out against pale blue ice. Print this free page for a classroom project or a weekend craft. Kids who like Ice Skating coloring pages usually enjoy Baseball and NFL / Football too.

- 1Start with the skin areas: color the faces, hands and mittens peach, leaving the eye whites and the smiles' teeth white.
- 2Fill the boy's jacket, pants and mittens with bright blue and dark blue, and the girl's jacket, pants and mittens with light pink and raspberry.
- 3Color the pompom beanies and hats: the boy's hat in sky blue with chocolate brown hair, and the girl's hat and scarf in hot pink and light pink.
- 4Add the golden yellow ponytail and hair, the forest green pine trees and bushes, and the caramel fence posts.
- 5Finish the skates with charcoal gray boots and keep the blades and snowy background white.
- 6Optional: add a darker shade of each color along the folds of the jackets to make them look puffy.
