Happy Girl Ice Skating in a Pom-Pom Hat and Puffer Coat
Coloring guide
This little skater is grinning as she glides over the ice, arms out wide and one skate kicked up behind her. She's bundled up in a knit beanie with a big pom-pom, a puffy zip-up jacket with horizontal quilted sections, ribbed-cuff mittens, leggings and lace-up skates. A short bob peeks out from under her hat. Some curved lines beneath her skates mark the ice, and three detailed snowflakes drift nearby. Bold, clean outlines and big open spaces make it comfortable for preschoolers and early elementary kids with crayons or markers. Raspberry pink or sky blue would look great on the jacket and hat, and pale icy blue or silver will help the snowflakes pop on the white page. Print it at home for a calm, creative break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the face, neck, and ears with peach skin, leaving the eye whites and the small smile area for the last step.
- 2Fill the hat with hot pink, and the big pom-pom on top, the skate boots, and the snowflakes' outer lines stay white.
- 3Color the puffer jacket with lavender purple, using soft lilac for the collar, and the mittens in hot pink.
- 4Color both jeans legs with denim blue and the hair with chestnut brown.
- 5Add light gray to the skate blades and pale ice blue to the small ice accents and snowflake centers.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the jacket's lower sides and the hair edges for depth.
