Two Friends Passing a Basketball at the Park Court
Coloring guide
A smiling boy and a girl with a ponytail face each other on an outdoor court with their hands out, a basketball floating between them. They both wear short-sleeved T-shirts, striped shorts and sneakers, and they look happy. Behind them are a hoop with a net and backboard on a pole, a park bench, bushes, a few leafy trees and two puffy clouds. Curved lines are painted on the court ground. The large, open shapes work for younger children, and the shirts, shorts and ball are easy to color. Try a red shirt for him and a blue one for her, then add an orange ball and green trees. A free printable for sports-loving kids, PE lessons or a quiet rainy day. Looking for more? Our MLB / Baseball and NFL / Football coloring pages pair nicely with this Basketball page.

- 3Paint the boy's shirt bright red and the girl's shirt violet purple, then color his shorts royal blue and her shorts hot pink.
- 4Use peach skin for faces, arms, hands and legs, and chestnut brown for both kids' hair and the ponytail.
- 5Color the basketball bright orange, the clouds pale sky blue, and the shoes royal blue and light pink, keeping socks and laces white.
- 6Optional: Add a little warm gray to the backboard pole and tree shadows for depth, and keep the backboard window white.
