Team Huddle High Five Before the Basketball Game
Coloring guide
Five smiling kids crowd into a tight circle, hands all reaching to the middle for a team high five. At the top of the circle, a boy with spiky hair and a girl with a high ponytail face us. A girl with curly hair and a headband leans in on the left, and a girl with a straight bob and bangs does the same on the right. The fifth child is a short-haired boy, seen from behind in the front. All of them wear short-sleeved shirts, shorts with side stripes, tall socks and sneakers. In the background, a hoop with a net hangs at the upper right and a window sits at the upper left, while curved court lines mark the floor. It's a free printable that works well for a teamwork lesson or for any sports-loving kid. Red, blue and yellow shirts and shorts would make the group look like one matching squad. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background: color the back wall and the lower blue wall medium blue, and the window panes pale sky blue.
- 2Fill the basketball court floor with honey gold, leaving the white court lines and white background unpainted.
- 3Color all the skin areas, including faces, arms, hands and legs, with peach skin, and use burnt orange for the darker skin on the left girl's face and arm.
- 4Paint the clothes: the boy in front wears a golden yellow shirt, the tall girl wears a bright red top, the left girl wears a plum purple shirt, the right girl wears a kelly green top, and the left boy wears a royal blue shirt. Shorts are royal blue on the front boy, violet purple on the left girl, and kelly green on the right girl.
- 5Add the hair: the boy's hair is caramel brown, the tall girl's ponytail is golden yellow, the right girl's bangs are chestnut brown, the curly hair is dark brown, and the headband is plum purple. Shoes are light blue, violet purple, and kelly green, with socks left white.
- 6Optional: Add a little dusty purple shading under the violet purple shorts and a light gray stripe on the right girl's shorts for depth.
