A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big balloon: fill the yellow panels with yellow, the red panels with red, and the blue panels with bright blue, leaving the thin gaps between them as they are.
- 2Color the pink heart band and its hearts in pink, then fill the hearts with red so they stand out, keeping the small white hearts white.
- 3Color the sky clouds with pale blue and leave the sky itself white. Paint the mountains in bright blue and cyan blue, then the hills with light green and leaf green.
- 4Fill the boy's hoodie with bright blue, his hair with brown, and his face and hands with cream. Color the mouse gray with light gray and its ears and inner ears pink, keeping the eye whites white.
- 5Color the basket rim orange, the basket bags cream, and the river water sky blue. Add forest green to the trees and light green to the bushes in the village.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade of each color along one side of the balloon to make it look rounder.
