Rainbow Castle on the Hill, True and the Rainbow Kingdom Page
Coloring guide
This storybook castle sits on a grassy hill beneath a wide rainbow, and a puffy cloud is tucked in on each side. Three tall round towers have scalloped cone roofs with flags on top, and two smaller towers stand beside the arched wooden front gate. The gate has two round door knockers and a stone border. You'll find pointed windows on the towers and along the notched battlement wall. Round bushes frame the castle, and a curvy path winds from the bottom of the page up to the doors. Four flowers and little grass tufts line the foreground. Bold stripes for the rainbow and purple or pink on the scalloped roofs will make the tiles show up well. - 2Fill the castle walls and towers with cream beige, leaving the arched windows white.
- 3Color the pointed roofs, the flags and the top of the rainbow in cherry red, then add golden yellow, bright green and sky blue to the rainbow stripes.
- 4Color the bushes in forest green, the arched doorway frame in stone gray and the wooden door in warm brown.
- 5Add the flowers in violet purple and coral pink, leaving their centers white. Optional: add a slightly darker shade along one side of the roofs and bushes for depth.
