Gym Slam Dunk Basketball Boy
Coloring guide
Mid-air and grinning, this boy hangs onto the rim with one arm stretched up while he dunks the ball through the net. His V-neck sleeveless jersey, loose shorts with trim at the hem, tall socks and lace-up sneakers are all drawn out, and his spiky hair and wide smile give the page plenty of energy. The gym behind him has rows of bleacher steps on both sides, railings at the edges and curved court lines on the floor. At the top you'll find the backboard and hoop with a detailed criss-cross net. Your child's favorite team colors would suit the jersey and shorts, with an orange ball and dark seams, and cool gray or blue for the bleachers. It's a free printable for young sports fans who like action and have steady hands for the net. Love this Basketball coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the basketball and the hoop net: color the ball orange and leave the net white, adding the thin black lines as they are.
- 2Fill the boy's jersey and shorts with royal blue, keeping the white trim and the light gray waistband untouched.
- 3Color the skin areas (face, raised arm, left arm, legs, and neck) peach, leaving the eye whites and the smile teeth white.
- 4Color the bleacher steps with light blue and deep blue, then fill the sneakers with royal blue and the socks white.
- 5Use brown for the hair and pale tan for the wooden floor, leaving the wall and background areas white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker shadows with a slightly deeper blue on the shorts and bleachers for a bit of depth.
