Boy Standing Inside the Coils of a Long Dragon

A young boy with short hair and a collared shirt stands in the middle of the page while a long, winding dragon curls around him. The dragon's head is on the left with a curved horn, an open mouth, a pointed snout and a thin tongue. Its body snakes across the front of the boy and ends in a big leafy tail on the right. One clawed foot rests near the boy's chest, and more clawed feet show at the bottom and left side. The boy looks off to the side with his eyes nearly closed. This printable page works well for Chinese New Year crafts. Try coloring the dragon in bold reds and golds, then talk about why dragons are a symbol of luck and strength in the celebration. The big tail and wide body also leave plenty of room for patterns or scales.
