A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big round drum face in the center with cream white, leaving the edges neat.
- 2Fill the wooden stand, both crossbars, the side of the drum, and the tall upright posts with wood brown.
- 3Color the thick ring around the drum face bright red, then add light tan to the two mallet handles.
- 4Color the three swirly clouds sky blue, keeping their black outlines and swirl lines clear.
- 5Fill the small round studs around the red ring with golden yellow, then add bright red bands near the mallet ends.
- 6Optional: add a few soft shading strokes on the wood and red ring with a darker shade of the same color. Leave the mallet heads and gaps between the stands white.
